Home Watch is a service that provides peace of mind and security to home owners while they are away. We help our customers with all the details that need to be looked after during holidays and extended time away. Many travellers and snowbirds want and need the security of knowing that everything at home is being looked after professionally and confidentially.

You are hiring us in confidence so that in many ways you are reducing the opportunity of theft or break in during your absence. Your home insurance policy will be honoured by using our service as you will have proof that your home was attended to on a regular basis. Our clients receive up-to-date reports and service logs as often as they require them.

Services

We service Victoria, Oak Bay, Esquimalt, Vic West, *Saanich, *Central Saanich, *View Royal, *Langford, and *Colwood (*travel charges may apply).

Our service packages start at $25.00 per visit and can include the following:

1. •Check exterior perimeter of house
   

2. •Check for visible water leaks
   

3. •Check security of all windows & doors
   

4. •Check for weather damage (snow, storms, wind etc.)
   

5. •Turn on different lights in the house
   

6. •Move/start car
   

7. •Opening/closing of blinds and draperies
   

8. •Collect & sort mail/papers & forward if needed
   

9. •Mail bills/cards on certain day
   

10. •Check answering machine and forward messages if needed
    

11. •Take out trash/collect trash bins from street
    

12. •Water inside plants
    

13. •Cats and small cage pets only (no dogs) – will feed and change litter box for cats
    

Additional Services

Personal Assistance Services:

We provide services to help busy professionals and seniors with chores that are time consuming and difficult for some seniors.

1. •Pick up dry cleaning & prescriptions 
   

2. •Grocery shopping for your return home
   

3. •Pick up pet from boarder and have at your home upon your return
   

4. •Supervise repair persons, house cleaners or workmen
   

5. •Available to be in your home to wait for furniture or other deliveries

Policy and Procedures

Services booked on holidays are 2 times the regular rate. Days considered holidays by The Stage Coach are: New Years Eve, New Years Day, Good Friday, Easter Sunday, Victoria Day, Canada Day, Civic Holiday (BC Day), Labour Day, Thanksgiving , Remembrance Day, Christmas Day and Boxing Day.

Invoicing and Payment

Invoices will be emailed/mailed at a minimum of once per month with one month paid in advance. We accept cheques, email transfer, Visa, MasterCard, American Express.
